Gasser to Tazer conversion?

Postby SENECA » Fri May 09, 2008 9:23 am

I noticed Mark Webber was hinting on converting a gasser to a Tazer...is there any kits to do that or is it just a piece by ice thing and how extensive is that to do?

We have put together a conversion kit, From a gasser to electric is $300.00.

It will be cheaper to do a 60/90 conversion, as some parts aren't needed to narrow up the frames.

This does not include Motor, ESC, or batteries.

It does include all mounting plates, pulleys, pinions, belt, shaft, lower frames, battery tray, etc.

Basically the upper framework stays the same, the conversion is to the bottom half.

Is this a conversion kit for the 710mm observer? If so, I'm very interested. What motor do you recommend? Or gear ratio?

Pat,

I have a conversion for the Observer EB to electric, but not the original Observer with the belt driven tail.

That would be difficult due to the need for the clutchbell to drive the tail belt. We completely do away with the clutch and bell in the electric versions.
