RealFlight Bergen Gasser Scheme

Postby maxx2504 » Fri Nov 09, 2007 10:05 am

Hi all, hi Chris !

I know that this topic don't match any of the other topics in your forum. But i must ask you for a permission and have to post this in that way. Sorry.

I've made this Colorscheme for the Realflight G3.5 for the Bergen Gasser.
So my question is: Can I publish this colorscheme on the swappage from knifeedge ? Or have this Canopy Design a Copyright ? Then i will only use it for myself. And another Question is: Is it named 'Captain America' ?

Here is a Picture of it:

EDIT: Ive made a Intrepid Magnum 90 too. Same question here if i can use it.

Greetings from Germany ! Yeah Baby !

That is WAY COOOL!!

You are certainly welcome to post it on knifeedge, you did the work!!

That canopy was dubbed "Captain America" by John Garst at a Funfly in Birmingham Al a few years ago.

The 90 canopy was painted by Rick Leszinski in Atlanta for the Marine Corps Ball raffle prize 2 years ago.

If I send you some pics can you do those as well??

Hey Chris !

Nice to hear that you like the Canopys...thank you !
Well, you can send me whatever u want man

The Photos must be taken strictly from left and right side and 2 photos of the both tail fins. And they must have a good solution, its easier to work with then.
Its hard to complain that in english but i think u understand me ? :) The Textures of the Bergen Helis not include the tailboom or the motor, only the canopy and the fins. I would change more of the helis but the texture of these dont let me

P.S. : I think about to buy an Intrepid...in the Future. And i want to know if its possible to get the captain america canopy for it ? its still my favourite

So Chris...oops i did it again

Here are the Pics of the Two Canopys i made for G3 from your excellent Photos:

I could not use the name 'Bergen' and your own name at the window, because it would be show reserved on the other side of the canopy. So i paint it over. Hope it dont matter ?

The second Canopy was no problem to make. Thank you to Cowboy Dave too, right ?

So which are the Names of the Canopys ?
If you have none, i would call the first one 'Captain America v2' and the second 'Eagle One' for the Swappages for G3 with your permission.

Happy to hear from You !

The "New" Flag canopy was painted by Malorie Zastrow of Zastrow Air FX, also a Bergen Sponsored Pilot.

The Eagle Canopy was Given to My Father one year for his Birthday from Cowboy Dave Garber.

Very Nice Work!!
